Bathroom Renovation Across London
When the bathroom is tired, leaking or badly laid out, patching it rarely works. Describe the room and we’ll pass your enquiry to an independent fitter who takes on full renovations. We don’t carry out the work ourselves.
A renovation survey should look at
- Condition of floor joists and walls
- Age of pipework and waste runs
- Ventilation and extract
- Water pressure and hot-water supply

Send a bathroom renovation enquiry
Tell us about the room and what you want to change. We’ll try to pass it to an independent fitter who can arrange a survey.

Signs of a renovation built properly
The parts you’ll never see matter as much as the tiles you will.
Sound foundations
Floors and walls should be made good before finishes go on.
Watertight wet areas
Ask how wet areas will be waterproofed; it should be part of every shower installation.
One planned sequence
Trades should follow each other in order, so the room isn’t left half-done.
Clear product list
The quote should show what’s allowed for, so you can upgrade knowingly.
Clean working
Agree dust sheets, protected routes and daily tidy-ups before work starts.
Check insurance first
Fitters work independently of this site, so ask for proof of insurance before your renovation is scheduled.
Renovation questions
What homeowners ask before committing to a full bathroom remodel.
How long will we be without a bathroom?
It depends on the size of the room and the work behind the walls. Ask for a programme with the quote so you can plan around it.
Can the toilet or shower be moved?
Often, yes, but toilets in particular depend on where the soil pipe can run. Ask the fitter to check this at the survey.
Who supplies the bathroom suite?
Some fitters supply it, others fit products you’ve chosen yourself. Make sure the quote states which applies.
Is the electrical work certified?
Electrical work in bathrooms is notifiable in many cases and should be carried out by a qualified electrician who provides the relevant certificate. Ask for it at handover.
What if rot is found under the floor?
A good fitter will show you, explain the options and agree any extra cost before carrying on. Ask how this is handled before you sign.
Can a bath be converted to a walk-in shower?
Yes. It’s a common part of a remodel; the fitter should make sure the floor and drainage suit a shower.
Do I need to be at home during the work?
Not all the time, but the fitter will need you for key decisions and access arrangements.
Will there be a lot of dust?
Strip-out is messy, so agree floor and route protection and a daily clean-up with your fitter.
Will the fitter be insured?
Each fitter works independently and we can’t vouch for their cover, so ask for proof of insurance when they quote and before the renovation is scheduled.
